  • Must have extensive experience working in Java/J2EE architecture, MVC/Struts, design patterns, Spring and Hibernate
  • Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, MQ and WBI is highly desirable
  • Experience with BIRT or Oracle is a plus

Technology Business Analyst

IDL Solutions, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Technology Business Analyst. The full-time position is located in Germantown, WI.

The primary responsibilities of the Technology Business Analyst are to design business information systems, incorporate new technical systems to improve client company work-flow, production, efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, the analyst is responsible for taking requirements from clients and internal product management and while working with the development team refining and translating them into detailed design specifications that support the overall product strategy. The Technology Business Analyst will work with clients as well as stakeholders from several business units to ensure functionality meets the needs of our client base. Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. Actively manages scope and budget on multiple projects and manages resources in accordance with project schedules.

Business Analyst

Java Architect

IDL Solutions, Inc. seeks a qualified individual with experience in a multi-tier Enterprise Java application development and object orientation, IT environments regarding planning, methodologies, operations and application development life cycle, MVC (STRUTS) and EJB 2, design patterns and object oriented design and analysis. The candidate's work history will clearly demonstrate his/her proficiencies in J2EE development, design and architecture. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, good work ethics, understanding of quality principles, a desire for continuous learning, and must be a team player. Certifications supporting these skills are desirable. The individual should have at least 1–3 years experience with Java Architecture and 2–5 years of experience as a J2EE Developer. This position will be based in either Milwaukee, Wisconsin or Vienna, Virginia and may require occasional travel.

Technical Lead Developer

An accomplished developer/architect with 7+ years experience working in a J2EE environment. Must have experience working with design patterns, STRUTS, MVC, Spring and Hibernate. Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, MQ and WBI is highly desirable. Experience with BIRT or Oracle is a plus.

WebSphere Administrator

This individual will be responsible for setup and maintenance of our 3-zone configured development environment. Candidate should have experience with WebSphere Application Server 6.x, WebSphere MQ 6, WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker and Oracle. The individual will work with developers to ensure proper configuration and participate in end-to-end testing and troubleshooting.

Technical Writer

This individual is responsible for compiling technical documents as required by the Software Development Life Cycle. The individual should be familiar with basic software development terminology and Microsoft Word. The Technical Writer will need to extract information through communications with developers and articulate the information in proper written format. The types of documents to be produced include: Test Plan, User Manual, Operations Manuals, Training Guides, etc.
