U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), HUD’s mission is to create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all.

HUD is working to strengthen the housing market to bolster the economy and protect consumers; meet the need for quality affordable rental homes; utilize housing as a platform for improving quality of life; build inclusive and sustainable communities free from discrimination; and transform the way HUD does business.

IDL at HUD

For many years, IDL has partnered with HUD in providing prompt responses to program, policy and technical inquiries from all of HUD’s customers.

Since 2002, IDL has been providing applications development services in the creation, implementation and maintenance of an inquiry tracking database system that logs, manages and escalates all inquiries coming in to HUD’s Technical Assistance Center. After the highly successful implementation of this database system, HUD more recently entrusted to IDL the operation of the entire Technical Assistance Center. Through multiple communication channels, the TAC answers general program status questions and resolves technical issues for inspectors, HUD Field Offices, housing authorities, management agents, residents, sponsors, HUD and other government officials, and the general public.

IDL Solutions is a prime contractor for both the CASS and TAC contracts at HUD’s Real Estate Assessment Center.
