IDL achieves CMMI Level 2
WASHINGTON, DC, July 5, 2005 – Information technology consulting firm IDL Solutions, Inc. has joined the ranks of organizations such as Fuji, Honda, JP Morgan Chase, SAIC, and CSC by being successfully appraised at the SEI CMMI Level 2. SEI CMMI has become a standard of excellence for improving organizational processes in government and industry. According to the SEI database of published appraisals, there are only 95 organizations around the world appraised at this maturity level. On June 30, IDL Solutions culminated the rigorous appraisal process that was conducted by an external SEI Authorized SCAMPI Class A Lead Appraiser. “This externally-assigned maturity rating is a significant milestone in IDL Solutions’ quest for excellence in all we do. In fact, we view it as the rebirth and reaffirmation of the organization we set out to build eleven years ago” said Tony Ambegaoker, IDL Executive Vice President and Co-Founder. “Since arriving in the DC area less than four years ago, IDL has expanded its client base to include HHS, NIH, CMS, HUD, FBI, BIA, and other federal agencies. According to the SEI Lead Appraiser, IDL achieved CMMI Level 2 maturity rating corporate-wide. Most companies and organizations only meet CMMI Level 2 for a particular program or business area.
